- Demonstrated experience in learning needs assessment, programme design, learning coordination, facilitation and programme evaluation.
- Prior experience in a higher education institution, academic environment, professional education organisation or knowledge-based organisation is desirable.
- Good understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design and contemporary learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS and digital learning or Learning Management System platforms; certification in instructional design, facilitation, learning analytics or a related field is an advantage.

BITS Pilani – Assistant Manager, Faculty Affairs Division (FAD)
BITS Pilani invites applications for one Assistant Manager – FAD position located at the Hyderabad Campus. The role reports to the Associate Dean – FAD and works closely with leadership, Associate Deans, Heads of Groups, faculty members, subject-matter experts, trainers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with academic leadership, programme heads and faculty to identify faculty development needs aligned with institutional priorities, and conduct structured learning needs assessments.
- Assist in preparing and implementing the annual faculty learning and development calendar, and develop role-based learning pathways.
- Assist in designing and curating faculty development programmes, and organise workshops, masterclasses, webinars, peer-learning forums and academic leadership interventions end to end.
- Develop learning and development content, materials, facilitator guides and participant resources.
- Develop mechanisms to collect feedback and evaluate the relevance and effectiveness of faculty development interventions, and manage learning analytics.
- Support initiatives to strengthen teaching capability, learner engagement and technology-enabled teaching, and coordinate mentoring, coaching and peer-learning interventions.
- Identify and coordinate with external trainers, academic institutions, consultants and professional learning partners; maintain a repository of facilitators and resources.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and dashboards, maintain records of programmes and expenditure, monitor the budget and support audit requirements.
