Bihar Women Development Commission – Walk-in Recruitment for Vacant Posts

The Bihar Women Development Commission (BWDC), Patna has issued Invitation-cum-Walk-in Interview Letter No. 02/2026 dated 14.09.2026, inviting female candidates for recruitment against sanctioned vacant posts of the Commission. Applicants must submit their filled application form along with all relevant certificates and mark sheets in a simple (plain) envelope, in person, at the Commission office.

Post-wise Qualification & Experience

1. State Project Manager – Monitoring & Evaluation (01 post, UR)

• Essential Qualification: P.G. Diploma / Master's degree in Rural Development / Women Studies / Rural Management / Social Work from a premier institute.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience, out of which 2 years should be in a managerial capacity in research / documentation. Exposure to log frame monitoring and evaluation work is preferable.

2. State Project Manager – Communication & Documentation (01 post, UR)

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Communications / Media Studies / Information Technology or equivalent from a premier institute.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience, out of which 2 years should be in a managerial capacity in communication & documentation support in the field of rural development.

3. Accountant (01 post, UR)

• Essential Qualification: B.Com (Hons). Preference will be given to CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years experience of accounts work in a Govt. / Semi-Govt. organisation of repute. Retired AG / Finance Department personnel may also be considered. Should be conversant with computer packages such as Tally, MS Excel, MS-Word, etc.

4. Chowkidar (Assistant) (04 posts – UR-01, UR (W)-01, EBC-01, EBC (W)-01)

• Essential Qualification: Graduate in any faculty, with knowledge of typing in both Hindi and English on a computer.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in Govt. / Semi-Govt. / organisations of repute, and knowledge of government procedures.

General Instructions

• Only female candidates are eligible to apply, as this is recruitment to the Women Development Commission.
• All relevant certificates, mark sheets and two (02) passport size photographs must be enclosed with the application.
• Applications for different posts must be submitted in separate envelopes.
• Applications must be filled duly in the candidate’s own handwriting as per the proforma; applications not filled in the prescribed manner will be rejected.
• Incomplete applications, or those not supported by documents, or received after the due date, will be rejected. The decision of the Selection Committee is final regarding admission for interview.
• Mere possession of the prescribed qualification does not entitle a candidate to be considered for appointment; the Selection Committee may decide the method of selection.
• The Office of the Commission is not responsible for any delay or non-receipt of applications where the candidate has incorrectly or wrongly furnished the address.
• The applicant should submit only one application form, and the same person will not be considered for more than one post.
• Unsuitable or improper character candidates will be disqualified, as will any candidate who tampers with or falsifies documents or gives false statements.
• The Commission reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interview, or to change the venue, date and time, without issuing any separate notice.
• Note on compensation / attendance: candidates who are already in service should obtain a No Objection Certificate from their employer; and any deliberate absence without valid reason before or after the interview will result in disqualification.
