Overview
The Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites applications for one (01) post of Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship (RJP-PDF) with stipend of Rs. 60,000/- pm + Rs. 10,000/- pm HRA plus Rs. 50,000/- per annum contingency, sanctioned under the Institution of Eminence (IoE) Scheme (SRICC letter dated 19/08/2026) for 12 months. Contact: Prof. Abhishek Pathak.
Eligibility
- Essential: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Zoology/Microbiology/Cellular & Molecular Biology/Life Science from Indian universities/institutes with NIRF ranking up to 20, or Ph.D. from abroad with strong cellular & molecular biology / microbiology / biochemistry experience; excellent communication skills; at least 2 original research papers in Q1/Q2 (SCOPUS/Web of Science) journals.
- Desirable: research experience in microscopy, cloning, PCR, western blots, microbiology and biochemistry.
Age Limit
Upper age limit 45 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/Female/Physically handicapped; SC/ST preferred per GOI rules).
