Overview
The Department of Molecular & Human Genetics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites applications for one (01) position of Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical) in the ICMR-supported project on molecular pathology of cervical carcinogenesis / telomere function (P-14/0807). PI: Prof. Gopeshwar Narayan.

Eligibility
- Essential: First-class Master degree (incl. integrated) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular & Human Genetics/Zoology/Animal Science/Life Sciences, OR second-class PG with Ph.D. in these subjects. For Engineering/IT/CS: first-class 4-year degree + 3 years research experience in these fields. Must have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent.
- Desirable: experience with human cell culture, telomere function assays/length analysis, confocal microscopy, q-FISH and basic molecular techniques.
Age Limit
Upper age limit 35 years (relaxable 3 years OBC, 5 years SC/ST/PH/Female; SC/ST preferred per GOI rules).
