The National Emergency Life Support (NELS) Skill Centre, Trauma Centre, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University invites applications for the post of Course Coordinator at the Medical Simulation Centre, IMS-BHU. The engagement is on consolidated pay up to 31 March 2027.

Project & Department
The NELS Skill Centre conducts Basic and Advanced Life Support training for medical personnel under national and state health programmes. The Coordinator works under the overall guidance of the designated NELS Nodal Officer of the Institute.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential: Graduate in any health or allied field; B.Sc. / GNM Nursing preferable. Desirable: experience in conducting BLS/ALS life-support training workshops for medical personnel, and in maintenance and upkeep of premises, equipment and consumables used for such training.
Emoluments
Consolidated monthly salary of Rs.40,000 (Rupees Forty Thousand only), payable till 31st March 2027 or till the validity of the contract agreement with the concerned authorities.

Important Instructions
- Duties include drawing up and implementing NELS training calendars and logistics for training workshops at the Skill Centre.
- Regular inventory management and upkeep of equipment and consumables at the NELS Skill Centre.
- Collection, verification and disbursement of bills and approved claims of trainees, and preparation of quarterly physical and financial progress reports for the NELS Nodal Officer.
- Any other Skill Centre related work assigned by the NELS Nodal Officer.
