The Department of AIHC & Archaeology, Faculty of Arts, Banaras Hindu University invites applications for one post of Field Investigator with a fixed amount of Rs.20,000 per month in the research project entitled "Compilation of Art, Architecture and Archaeological Material of Kaimur District: A Sociological and Cultural Study", sanctioned by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi (Project Code M-28/0052). The duration of the post is six months only.

Project title: Compilation of Art, Architecture and Archaeological Material of Kaimur District: A Sociological and Cultural Study. The work involves field survey, documentation and compilation of archaeological and cultural material in Kaimur district, Bihar.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential: M.A. in AIHC & Archaeology with a minimum of 55% marks. Upper age limit 40 years, with 5 years relaxation for Female / SC / ST / Physically Handicapped candidates.
Emoluments
Fixed remuneration of Rs.20,000 (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) per month. The post is temporary, co-terminus with the project, and lasts six months only.
