The Dean & Principal, BBMCH Balangir, invites applications for Laboratory Technician in the Multi-Disciplinary Research Unit (MRU) on purely contractual basis (364 days) under DHR-GoI (Advt. dated 07.10.2026).

Eligibility
- Essential: 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology) with DMLT / B.Sc (Medical Laboratory Technology), plus 1 year lab experience in a recognized institute after DMLT (as per notification).
- Desirable: Work experience in Molecular Biology and a quality-assured laboratory.
- Valid Registration Certificate from the State Council of DMLT/DMRT, Odisha (mandatory).
- Must have passed HSC/+2/DMLT/B.Sc(MLT)/M.Sc(MLT) in single attempt (multiple attempts not considered).
- Citizen of India; good health; not more than one spouse living if married.
Age Limit (as on date of advertisement)
21–38 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/Women/PwD as per Govt. of Odisha rules.
Selection Process
Shortlisting on career marks, then interview. Final merit = career weightage + viva-voce.
