- Essential: M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics/Materials Science/Nano Science) with First class in graduate and post-graduate examination
- Age limit: Upper age limit 28 years as on 01 April 2026; Indian citizen and resident of Uttar Pradesh
- Emoluments: Rs. 25,000 per month (fixed); purely temporary, co-terminus with the project
