Banaras Hindu University Contractual Recruitment 2026–27: Teaching Associate, Instructor/Demonstrator & Administrative Associate

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has invited online applications from Indian citizens for engagement on a contractual basis for various positions under different courses of study at the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur, and the Main Campus for the academic session 2026–27.

The appointments will be purely contractual and may be extended depending on university requirements.

• Teaching Associate

• Instructor / Demonstrator

For appointments at the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur, engagement will initially be for one year, with a mandatory break as per university rules.

Remuneration

Teaching Associate

• Candidates possessing a Ph.D.: INR 63,000 per month (fixed)

• Candidates without a Ph.D.: INR 57,000 per month (fixed), as applicable

Instructor / Demonstrator

• INR 54,000 per month (fixed)

Administrative Associate

• INR 36,600 per month, or last pay minus pension, as applicable
