Office of the Chief Medical & Health Officer, District Balodabazar-Bhatapara (Chhattisgarh) invites applications under the National Health Mission (NHM) for recruitment to various vacant contractual posts. Applications are invited from eligible interested local residents of Chhattisgarh in the prescribed format.
In pursuance of the letter of the Office of the Commissioner cum Mission Director, National Health Mission, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar (Chhattisgarh) and as per ROP 2026-27, recruitment is conducted for the vacant contractual posts under NHM, District Balodabazar-Bhatapara.

- Community Health Officer: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 35 years; up to 45 years for Chhattisgarh local residents (including all relaxations).
- Relaxation for employees of Govt./Semi-Govt. service as per Government rules.

Eligibility Conditions
- Must be a local resident of Chhattisgarh (with valid domicile/residence certificate).
- Valid Employment Exchange (Rozgar) registration as on advertisement date.
- Permanent caste certificate from competent authority (as applicable).
- Qualification only from UGC/AICTE/respective Council recognized institutions; regular courses only (no distance/correspondence).
- Birth date determined by 8th/10th marksheet. Experience certificate only from Govt./Semi-Govt. (Centre or CG Govt.) institutions accepted.
- Annexure-I (Integrated Course certificate from college principal) required for Community Health Officer post.
- Applicants whose services were terminated from NHM/Govt. for indiscipline are ineligible.
Selection Process
- Document verification of eligible candidates (candidates called as per notified ratio), then merit list.
- Merit marking: 12th marks 40% + technical course marks 45% + experience marks (for certain posts); Community Health Officer: 65% academic + 20% computer + experience; other posts: 85% academic + experience.
- Experience: 2 marks/year for Govt./Semi-Govt. (max 10 marks/5 yrs); 3 marks/year under NHM (max 15 marks/5 yrs); COVID bonus up to 10 marks; total experience max 45 marks.
- Waitlist issued for up to 300% of advertised posts, valid for 1 year or till next recruitment.
- Tie-breaker: older candidate preferred.
- All appointments valid up to 31 March 2027 (financial year), purely temporary and transferable.
Community Health Officer (Special)
Monthly honorarium of Rs. 46,500 (fixed) plus performance-based incentive up to Rs. 15,000/- per month as per NHM guidelines.
