How to Apply

Candidates must follow these steps to apply for the Sports Coach positions:

1. Step 1: Download the application form from the official website of Balod District Administration at https://balod.gov.in or collect it from the Office of the Assistant Commissioner (Tribal Development), Balod.
2. Step 2: Fill in all the required details in the application form accurately using blue or black ink pen. Ensure all information is correct and matches the supporting documents.
3. Step 3: Attach self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
   • Graduation Degree and Mark Sheets
   • B.PEd / D.PEd / C.PEd / B.PES Certificate
   • Sports participation certificates (National/State level competitions)

Sports Achievement Bonus Marks:

Note: Candidates with both National and State level medals will get bonus marks for each medal separately. The maximum bonus marks from sports achievements will be capped. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher practical test marks will be placed higher. If still tied, the candidate with more coaching experience will be given preference.

Terms and Conditions

• The engagement is purely contractual and temporary for a period of 11 months initially.
• No claim for regular appointment, permanency, or absorption into government service will be entertained.
• The sports coach shall not be entitled to any benefits like pension, provident fund, medical allowance, leave encashment, or any other government employee benefits.
• The services can be terminated at any time by the competent authority without assigning any reason with 15 days notice or pay in lieu of notice.
• The sports coach will be required to reside at or near the Government Tribal Boys Sports Campus, Dondi for effective coaching.
• Candidates must produce all original documents at the time of joining for verification.
• Any false or misleading information in the application will lead to immediate disqualification and potential legal action.
• The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding on all candidates.
• Candidates must be willing to work in rural/tribal areas and participate in sports events as required.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the selection process.
• The Collector, Balod reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies without prior notice.
• Candidates with experience in coaching tribal athletes will be given additional preference.
