About the University

Azim Premji University was established in 2010 in Bengaluru, Karnataka with the vision of contributing to the realization of a just, equitable, humane and sustainable society. Over the years, the University has built a distinctive space in higher education through programmes in education, development, policy, economics, sciences and law.

With the launch of the new campus in Ranchi, the University aims to expand its footprint in Eastern India and address critical developmental challenges in the region. The Ranchi campus will host undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, alongside research and field engagement initiatives, with a strong focus on socially relevant education.

About the Role

Faculty members will:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with an emphasis on interactive, practice-oriented pedagogy
• Supervise student research and projects
• Undertake independent and collaborative research aligned with socially relevant issues
• Engage with communities, field organisations and policy institutions to strengthen practice-based learning
• Contribute to institution building and interdisciplinary academic initiatives
