Advanced Weapons & Equipment India Limited (AWEIL), a Schedule 'A' Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, invites applications for the post of Executive Finance on contractual basis (Advertisement No. AWEIL/10/2026).

About AWEIL

AWEIL is a Government of India Enterprise incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 on 14th August 2021, with Corporate Headquarters at Kanpur. The organization is primarily engaged in manufacture and supply of Weapon Systems, Small Arms, Tank Gun Articles and Ammunition Components, with eight production units spread across various states in India.

Vacancy Details

Total consolidated monthly emolument shall be Rs. 90,000/- (Fixed). The same shall be enhanced by @ 10% per year. No other allowances shall be admissible.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Essential)

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), OR Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI); and
• Must be Associate / Fellow members of ICAI / ICMAI.

Experience

• Minimum 03 years post-qualification experience, excluding article ship period. (Counted from date of last exam passed, to be verified from final exam certificate.)

Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years as on last date of receipt of application (31/08/2026).
• Age relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC, +10 years for PwD (as per Govt. of India guidelines).

Nationality

• Must be an Indian national.

Terms of Appointment

• Employment on full-time Contract Basis for a fixed term of 03 years, renewable every year based on performance.
• The contract shall not confer any rights or claim of extension/absorption in the Company.
• Services can be terminated by AWEIL by giving 1-month notice or with remittance of one month pay in lieu thereof.

Place of Posting

May be posted at AWEIL HQ, Kanpur or any one of the units located at Kanpur, Jabalpur, Korwa, Kolkata and Tiruchirappalli (Tiruchy). However, may be deputed for official works to any of the units of AWEIL/Govt. offices/departments. Based on requirement, may be transferred to other unit/office of AWEIL.

Job Profile & Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities shall broadly cover any combination in the area like:

• Book keeping, Bills payables, Bills receivables
• Payroll and Personnel claims
• TDS matters, Costing, Budgeting
• Banking, Insurance, Preparation of financial statements
• Corporate tax, GST, Working capital
• Treasury management, Tender evaluation etc.

Working Hours & Leave

• Working Hours: As per office/unit timing of AWEIL. If required, as per exigencies of work, he/she would be asked to attend office on Saturday (for HQ) or other holidays without any additional compensation.
• Leave: 12 Days Casual Leave (CL) @ one casual leave per month on pro-rata basis. Which can be availed as half day also.

Selection Process

1. The interview will be conducted by a duly constituted selection committee.
2. The ratio between the number of vacancies and number of eligible candidates to be called for interview shall be 1:10.
3. The sorting of candidates to be called for interview from the recommended list may be done on basis of following criteria:
   • Preference should be given to CA.
   • Posts for which experience is essential, sorting will be done on basis of total experience acquired by the candidates.
   • Where experience is not mandatory, sorting will be done on basis of marks obtained in exam prescribed as minimum qualification for a particular post.
