- Who can apply: Retired Lecturers/ Assistant Professors/ Readers of any public Universities/ Degree Colleges (Government or Non-Government Aided College of 488 & 662 category as well as Sanskrit colleges)
- Age Limit: Upper age limit should be within 69 years as on the date of issue of advertisement. Engagement allowed till they attain 70 years of age.
- Qualification: Master's Degree from a recognized university in the concerned subject securing minimum 55% marks
- Health: Sound health with good physical ability and willing to attend duty regularly
- Service Record: Good service records, no Departmental Proceedings/ Recovery/ Audit Para pending, no Criminal Case pending
