Assam Skill University (ASU), Mangaldai invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Guest Faculty in the Department of Food Technology on a purely temporary basis. Eligible candidates are invited to appear in a walk-in interview on 13.11.2026 at the Assam Skill University Campus, Mangaldai.

Essential Qualification
- M.E./M.Tech/M.S./Integrated M.Tech./M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc./M.Voc in Food Technology / Food Processing / Food Engineering / Dairy Technology / Chemical Engineering / Post-harvest Engineering / Food Science & Nutrition, or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale) from an Indian or recognised foreign university on full-time regular mode.
- Ph.D. in any one of the above-mentioned relevant disciplines or qualified NET in the relevant subject.
- Relevant UGC/AICTE/NCTE regulations apply. A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) is provided at the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s level for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently-abled candidates.
Remuneration
- ₹1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹40,000/- per month.
- Guest Faculty already employed in a government institution: ₹800/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹40,000/- per month.
- No other allowances are admissible.
Walk-in Interview
- Date: 13.11.2026.
- Reporting time: 10:00 A.M. No candidate will be permitted to enter the venue after the reporting time.
- Venue: Guest House, Assam Skill University Campus, Mangaldai.
How to Apply
Candidates must fill up the prescribed application form (attached to the notice) and bring all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies at the time of interview. Candidates presently employed must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
- The engagement is purely temporary and shall not confer any right to regularization or absorption in Assam Skill University.
- The University reserves the right to increase/decrease/modify the number and nature of posts or to cancel/withdraw/reschedule the process.
