Eligibility and Service Conditions
- Academic and other eligibility shall be as per NMC — the Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1999, including the required teaching and research experience
- The selected candidate shall have no claim to any allowance, bonus or pensionary benefits; appointment is purely contractual
- Private practice is not permitted; the candidate must declare the place of residence if practising privately
- Contractual teachers shall remain available for academic and administrative work of the medical college
- The contract may be terminated at any time by giving one month’s notice on either side, and shall automatically end on appointment of a regular teacher
- Selected candidates must join within 15 days of the contract
- No pension benefits are admissible; no honorarium for any additional charge; the contract may be extended one year at a time
- The number of posts may be increased or decreased
- Candidates must bring their bio-data, original certificates and one set of self-attested copies, and photographs
