ASBB Project Staff Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts (Project Associate & Project Assistant)
The Assam State Biodiversity Board (ASBB), an autonomous statutory body under the Environment & Forest Department, Government of Assam, invites applications for engagement of two (2) Project Staff - Project Associate (Agrobiodiversity) (01) and Project Assistant (Wildlife) (01) - for assisting the ongoing works of implementation of the Biological Diversity Act & Rules in Assam. Applications in the prescribed format with supporting documents must reach the Board office by 5:00 PM, 10 November 2026.

Eligibility
- Project Associate (Agrobiodiversity): M.Sc. in Agriculture.
- Project Assistant (Wildlife): M.Sc. in Zoology or Wildlife Sciences.
- Candidates must be residents of Assam (domicile).
- Age limit 21-35 years.
- Desirable: minimum two years (Associate) / one year (Assistant) experience in the biodiversity sector; knowledge of identification of flora and fauna; experience in surveys, data collection, PRA meetings, trainings and awareness activities; computer skills; proficiency in English, Hindi and Assamese (oral and written) is mandatory.
- Engagement is for 12 months, extendable based on project requirement and fund availability.
