Assam State AIDS Control Society Job Details & Overview
Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS), Khanapara, Guwahati will hold walk-in interviews to fill seven contractual posts of Medical Officer (MO) and Senior Medical Officer (SMO) at ART Plus, ART and OST centres under the National AIDS Control Programme. Engagement is up to 31 March 2027, extendable subject to performance appraisal and co-terminus with the project.

Pay

Eligibility
- MO: MBBS with valid registration from the State Medical Council of Assam/NMC; six months’ junior residency and HIV/AIDS programme experience desirable; MD Psychiatry/DPM preferred for OST.
- SMO: MBBS with valid registration, or MBBS with PG (MD/Diploma including DNB) in any clinical discipline recognised by NMC; three years’ experience for MBBS candidates; fresher clinical postgraduates considered.
- Age not more than 65 years as on 1 April 2026; good computer/MS Office knowledge.
Venue and How to Apply
Report at 10:30 AM at the office of the Principal cum Chief Superintendent of the respective institution with all original testimonials, a standard application form, one set of self-attested photocopies and a recent passport-size photograph. Only shortlisted candidates will appear in the written test and/or viva voce. No TA/DA is payable.
