Eligibility and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical, Mechanical or Mining from a recognised university/institute, or an equivalent degree directly relevant to the position.
- At least 25 years of professional experience in the coal/thermal sector with the Central Government, State Government or a Public Sector Undertaking.
- At least 15 years of that experience in construction, designing, development, operation and maintenance of thermal power plants or coal mines.
- At least 3 years of cumulative service at senior-level positions of General Manager/Superintending Engineer and Chief Engineer/Chief General Manager/Executive Director or equivalent rank in the Central/State Government or PSU in the coal/thermal sector.
- Officers of Organised Group 'A' Services (such as IRTS/IRMS) working at the appropriate level are exempted from the educational qualification requirement.
- Group 'A' officers must have at least 5 years of cumulative senior-level experience in the last 10 years in coal procurement, coal linkage, coal mining, railway freight and rake management, port operations, transportation and logistics, fuel supply agreements, coal quality management, materials/supply chain management, or commercial and contract management.
Compensation Package
- Lumpsum ₹3,75,955 per month (including DA, HRA and CCA), minus pension.
- Security Guard Allowance: ₹20,598.
- Telephone Operator Allowance: ₹20,598.
- Professional Development Allowance: ₹20,000.
- Special Allowance: ₹25,000.
- Camp Office Allowance: ₹30,000.
Selection and Application
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their experience profile and called for a personal interview.
- Submit the prescribed application form in duplicate with attested copies of age, qualification, nationality, caste, Aadhaar, PAN, mark sheets, experience certificates, ACRs/CRs for the last five years and vigilance clearance.
