The Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB) and its affiliated District Co-operative Central Banks (DCCBs) have released recruitment notifications for the posts of Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager (Scale-I) in Chittoor, Kadapa, Nellore, Prakasam, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram districts of Andhra Pradesh. Total 338 posts.

Eligibility Criteria
- Staff Assistant (Open Market): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, with knowledge of English, proficiency in local language (Telugu) and working knowledge of computers.
- Assistant Manager: First class graduation in any discipline / High second class in Commerce (aggregate 55% and above) / Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- PACS In-service Candidates (Staff Assistant): Intermediate + JDC/HDC/DCRS or Graduation from a recognized university, with a minimum of 10 years' service in PACS affiliated to the concerned DCCB.
- Local Candidate Requirement: Candidates must be local to the erstwhile district of the applied post — studied in a local educational institution for 4 consecutive academic years up to SSC, or resided in the local area for 4 years immediately preceding SSC.

Selection Process
- Online Written Examination (Open Market): 200 objective questions, 200 marks, composite time of 2 hours (120 minutes). Negative marking — 1/4th (0.25) of the marks of a question deducted for each wrong answer.
- Document Verification
- Medical Fitness Examination
- Final Appointment — selected candidates must execute a Contract Bond of ₹ 2,00,000/- to serve the Bank for a minimum period of 2 years.
There is no interview. Selection is purely on the basis of the Online Written Test.
