APCOB Staff Assistant & Assistant Manager (Scale-I) Recruitment 2026

The Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB) and its affiliated District Cooperative Central Banks (DCCBs) of Chittoor, Kadapa, Nellore, Prakasam, Visakhapatnam, and Vizianagaram have invited online applications for the recruitment of Staff Assistant (295 posts) and Assistant Manager/Scale-I (43 posts). Total 338 vacancies.

Educational Qualification

Staff Assistant: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with knowledge of English, proficiency in Telugu, and working knowledge of computers. PACS in-service quota: Intermediate plus JDC/HDC/DCRS or graduation with minimum 10 years PACS service.

Assistant Manager (Scale-I): First Class graduation in any discipline, OR High Second Class in Commerce (aggregate 55%+), OR Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with knowledge of English, proficiency in Telugu, and working knowledge of computers.

Age Limit (as on 01 June 2026)

Staff Assistant (Open Market): 20–30 years. PACS in-service: up to 45 years (OC) / 50 years max.

Assistant Manager: 20–30 years.

Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; BC – 3 years; PwBD – 10–15 years; Ex-Servicemen – actual service + 3 years.

Staff Assistant: ₹24,050 – 1340/3 – 28,070 – 1650/3 – 33,020 – 2000/4 – 41,020 – 2340/7 – 57,400 – 4400/1 – 61,800 – 2680/1 – 64,480 (Approx. ₹47,000/month)

Assistant Manager: ₹40,480 – 2000/11 – 62,480 – 2340/2 – 67,160 – 2680/5 – 80,560 (Approx. ₹62,571/month)

Selection Process

1. Online Written Examination (CBT) – 200 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes. Sections: Reasoning (40Q/50M), Quantitative Aptitude (40Q/50M), English Language (40Q/40M), General/Financial Awareness (40Q/40M), Computer Knowledge (40Q/20M). Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.

4. Final Appointment – subject to executing a Contract Bond of ₹2,00,000 for minimum 2-year service commitment.

Note: No interview for either post. PACS in-service candidates have a separate test on Working and Functions of PACS (50 questions, 100 marks).

2. Click on Apply Online and register with name, contact details, and email ID.
3. Log in and fill the application form with personal, educational, and other details.
4. Upload scanned photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature in black ink, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in English.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Submit and save the system-generated e-receipt and application form.

Local/Domicile Requirement

Candidates must be local to the erstwhile district of the DCCB they are applying for. Local status is determined by 4 consecutive years of study or residence in the local area up to SSC, or 7 years within the state.

Contract Bond

Selected candidates must execute a Contract Bond of ₹2,00,000 agreeing to serve the Bank for a minimum of 2 years.
