The Government of Andhra Pradesh, Police Department has issued Notification No. 01/2026 dated 31.08.2026 for recruitment of Record Assistant, Office Subordinate, Sweepers, Scavengers, Cooks, Dhobis and Barbers on outsourcing basis in the 7th (IR) Battalion, APSP, Maddipadu, Prakasam District (APIIC Growth Centre, Maddipadu, Ongole, Prakasam District) as per G.O.Ms.No. 120, Home (SER-III) Department, dt. 26.06.2023.

Age Limit
- Candidates must not have crossed the age of 42 years and should not be below 18 years.
- Age relaxation of 5 years (up to a maximum of 47 years) for SC/ST/BCs/EWS candidates.
- Maximum age shall be reckoned as on 01.07.2026.

- The Application Form will be available on the East Godavari District Website eastgodavari.ap.gov.in from 10:00 AM on 01.09.2026 to 05:00 PM on 11.09.2026.
- The candidate shall submit the filled-in application, in person or by post, with all enclosures to: O/o the Commandant, 7th (IR) BN, APSP, Maddipadu, APIIC Growth Centre, Prakasam District – 523211 (to reach before the due date & time).
- Last date for submission: 05:00 PM on 11.09.2026. Aadhaar and working mobile number/e-mail are mandatory.
- Local candidate rule: Only candidates who studied in the erstwhile Prakasam district (based on Class 4th to 10th study certificates) will be considered Local Candidates as per the Presidential Order.

- Written test is objective in nature based on AP State 10th Class standard (Telugu, English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Social Studies).

- The date, time and venue of written test/skill test/interview will be communicated by Post/SMS/e-mail.
- Duties include battalion post-related cleaning, kitchen, laundry, barber, records and office work as per the notification.
