Full Description
Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Sri Vijaya Puram, a NMC recognized medical college affiliated to Pondicherry University, invites applications from Indian nationals/OCI cardholders for the Faculty Posts (Group A) in Cardiology on Contractual/Deputation basis. The 545 bedded Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital (GBPH) is attached to ANIIMS as the teaching hospital and is the only referral hospital for the entire Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Experience Requirements
- Associate Professor: (a) At least two years as Assistant Professor in the subject in a recognised medical institution; and (b) (i) at least two research publications after appointment as Assistant Professor (amongst first three authors); and (ii) completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) from a medical institution designated by the Commission.
- Assistant Professor: Completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) from a recognised medical institution designated by the Commission.

Deputation posts are governed by DoPT deputation rules. Remuneration of retired Government employees is regulated as per Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure OM No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09.12.2020.

Selection will be based on Hybrid Interview in a phased manner, covering academic & research credentials, publications, awards, presentations and interview performance. No TA/DA will be paid.
