- Essential qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant subject; OR Master degree in relevant subject with Bachelor degree of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average.
- Experience: At least 3 years in teaching/research as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate-ship/Training/other engagements.
- Publication: At least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCIE) / NAAS-rated journal.
- Age limit: Men - 40 years; Women - 45 years as on the interview date.
- Candidates with PG degree in Basic Sciences with 3-year B.Sc. + 2-year M.Sc. must possess NET qualification.
