The Regional Ayurvedic & Unani Officer / District Homoeopathic Medical Officer, Amethi (Uttar Pradesh) invites applications for engagement of 15 part-time Yoga Prashikshaks under the National AYUSH Mission at AYUSH Health & Wellness Centres (Ayushman Arogya Mandir) — Male: 5, Female: 10.
Eligibility (either)
- BNYS: Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (5.5-year degree) from a recognized university/institution; OR
- Degree: BA (Yoga) / B.Sc (Yoga) / M.Sc (Yoga) / MA (Yoga) degree holder; OR
- PG Diploma: minimum one-year PG Diploma in Yoga with 2 years experience; OR
- Certification: Yoga Wellness Instructor certificate from the Yoga Certification Board, New Delhi, with 1 year experience.
- Experience: 1-2 years as applicable (post-qualification only).
- Age: Minimum 21 and maximum 65 years, healthy; local residents preferred (2+ years / 21+ years clauses per notice).
Remuneration & Terms
- Pay: Rs.8,000/- per month (male); Rs.5,000/- per month (female), part-time per session.
- Tenure: Contract for 1 year under National AYUSH Mission; renewal (after min. 15-day gap) only on scheme continuation; no regularisation claim; Govt. Conduct Rules apply.
- Sessions: Male instructor min. 32 yoga sessions (min. 1 hr each); female min. 20 yoga classes (min. 1 hr, women groups).
- Selection: Record examination + interview by the selection committee; character verification; notary affidavit of document truthfulness.

No fee; a self-addressed stamped envelope (Rs.22/- stamps, name + full address with PIN) must be enclosed.
