University of Allahabad CBCS - JRF & Research Assistant Recruitment 2026
Centre of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS), University of Allahabad invites applications for 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 1 Research Assistant (RA) for the project titled "Mechanisms underlying the age-related shifts in emotional goals and its relationship with structural and functional changes in the brain", funded by the Cognitive Science Research Initiative (CSRI) of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India.

Qualifications
- M.Sc. degree in Cognitive Science or related discipline (Neuroscience, Psychology) with a good academic background.
- Experience in conducting computer-based behavioural experiments and functional neuroimaging.
- Experience with fMRI data acquisition and analysis.
- Experience with platforms like E-Prime, PsychoPy, MATLAB and R.
- Knowledge of conversational Hindi.
- Desirable: Experience working with elderly population.
- For JRF: Valid NET qualification is required.
Tenure
The posts are purely temporary; initial recruitment for one year, extendable based on performance and availability of funds.
