AIIMS Raipur – Project Manpower for iECS / PRAYAS Project (3 Posts), Rolling

AIIMS Raipur, Department of Trauma and Emergency, invites applications for the following posts on a full-time and contractual basis for a financially approved innovation project titled “Strengthening the Emergency Care Systems in Chhattisgarh through Digital Hybrid Healthcare”, under the PRAYAS Scheme of IBITF, IIT Bhilai. Ref. Admin/Rec./AIIMSRPR/T&E/5207 dated 18-09-2026.

This is a rolling advertisement. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis until the posts are filled; screening and interviews are conducted periodically as per the project’s requirements.

Post-wise Qualifications

1. Junior Medical Officer

• Essential: MBBS degree from a recognised university.
• Desirable: research/clinical experience in medical/allied sciences; clinical experience at facility and community levels; experience of working in the Emergency Department and/or casualty at district level or a peripheral health facility (preferred); previous experience with similar research projects.
• Duration: 06 months, extendable till project completion based on performance.
• Place of posting: AIIMS Raipur and field work in peripheral health centres as part of the project.
• Nature of work: patient recruitment; clinical management of cases inducted in the project; ECG collection and annotation; coordination with the PI and project research personnel for case recruitment and data entry; filling the case record form and sample collection; data recording and entry into the project app/web-based platform; any other work assigned by the PI, Co-PI and scientist.

2. Senior Programmer

• Essential: B.Tech / MCA + 3 years experience, or M.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline. Candidates with industry/research experience in applied AI/ML will be preferred.
• Experience/expertise: solid understanding of programming languages used in AI such as Python, R, Java, C++; advanced knowledge of statistical and algorithmic models and of linear algebra and probability; experience with large data sets and efficient code for large data streams; experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure) and deploying AI/ML models on cloud platforms; ability to understand a problem statement and implement analytical solutions independently; hands-on experience building and leading teams in digital transformation (AI/ML, IoT, device engineering, cloud); knowledge of cloud, fog and edge computing.
• Duration: 06 months, extendable till project completion based on performance.
• Place of posting: AIIMS Raipur.
• Nature of work: design and develop end-to-end full-stack web applications; build responsive user interfaces; develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs; design, optimise and maintain relational and NoSQL databases; conduct AI/ML research and develop ML/DL models for healthcare applications; preprocess and manage clinical datasets, medical images and multimodal healthcare data; integrate AI/ML models into production web applications with real-time inference; design scalable system architectures; optimise application performance, queries, caching and API response times; deploy and maintain applications on Linux servers with modern DevOps practices; configure web servers, reverse proxies, SSL, process managers, containers and CI/CD pipelines; monitor production systems and ensure reliability and security; collaborate with clinicians and cross-functional teams.

3. Data Entry Operator (DEO) cum Office Assistant

• Essential: Intermediate or 12th pass from a recognised board, and previous work experience in data entry/office work for at least 2 years.
• Desirable: good English communication skills; good skills in reading handwritten notes/doctor’s prescriptions; basic knowledge of medical terms and terminologies; good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Duration: 03 months, extendable till project completion based on performance.
• Place of posting: AIIMS Raipur and field work in peripheral health centres as part of the project.
• Nature of work: help investigators and research staff for smooth running of the project; ensure studies are conducted per protocol, SOPs, good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements; coordinate with the PI and research personnel at study sites for data collection and follow-up of cohort participants; ensure accurate data recording, reporting and entries; may require calling patients, guiding them in the hospital and following up for events; performing physical tasks related to office maintenance, meetings and file movement; any additional work assigned by the PI/Co-PI.

General Terms and Conditions

• These posts are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project.
• All appointments will be made on a contractual basis and are renewable depending on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview, or for joining the post thereafter.
• Age relaxation will be provided per applicable Government of India rules.
• After the interview, the result will be declared on the AIIMS Raipur website and selected candidates will be informed through the email provided. No separate call letters/admit cards will be issued.
• Selection will be based purely on merit.
• If many eligible applicants apply, the interview may spill over to the next day, or a screening test may be held, or any other criteria may be adopted to shortlist candidates. The decision of the competent authority will be final.
• The Principal Investigator reserves the right to fill or not fill any of the advertised posts, and to withdraw any post if no candidate is deemed suitable.
