AIIMS Nagpur Medical Physicist Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Indian nationals aged 21 to 35 years as on the last date of submission of application
- Prescribed qualifications will be counted as on the last date of submission of application
- Application fee: Rs.1,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, paid by NEFT to the AIIMS exam fee account at Bank of Baroda, AIIMS Nagpur campus; SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted
- Candidates working in Central/State Government, semi-government or autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of interview
- Shortlisting for interview will be based on educational qualification, relevant experience and/or the shortlisting criteria laid down in the notice
- Employment is purely contractual for 11 months, co-terminus with the alternate arrangement, and carries no right to regularisation
- The contract may be terminated at any time before completion of the tenure; the institute may cancel the advertisement or fill fewer posts
- Interview will be held at AIIMS Nagpur; no TA/DA is payable
- Reservation as per Government of India rules and the roster of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare

- Essential: M.Sc. in Medical Physics or equivalent from a recognised university/institute; OR M.Sc. in Physics plus a post-graduate diploma/degree in Radiological Medical Physics from a recognised university/institute; OR M.Sc. in Medical Technology with Radiotherapy as the special subject from a recognised university and/or a Diploma in Radiation Protection
- Experience: two years of experience of working in the Radiotherapy Department of a hospital
- Desirable: approval from the competent authority to function as a Radiological Safety Officer (RSO)
