- Associate Professor (General): IMC-recognised medical qualification + MD/MS (or equivalent) in the specialty + 6 yrs teaching/research experience after MD/MS.
- Associate Professor (Super-specialty, e.g. Neurosurgery): IMC-recognised qualification + MD/MS + D.M./M.Ch. (2/3/5-yr recognised course) or equivalent; experience per course length (4 yrs after 2-yr DM/MCh; 3 yrs after 3-yr DM/MCh).
- Age: not exceeding 50 years on closing date (PwBD +10, SC/ST +5, OBC +3, Govt servants +5).
- Dental/Physiotherapy/Nursing college experience not counted; post-qualification experience only; 1-yr teaching/research relaxation for SC/ST.
Pay
- Associate Professor: Level 13-A1+, minimum Rs.1,38,300 + NPA (medically qualified).
