All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur — Department of Microbiology, invites applications for Project Technical Support-III – 01 post (UR) on a purely temporary basis in Extramural Research under the project "Infectious Disease Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (IRDL)", funded by ICMR-DHR.
The overall Principal Investigator is Dr. Vibhor Tak, Additional Professor & HOD, Department of Microbiology. The Mycology vertical is led by Dr. Vidhi Jain, Additional Professor, Department of Microbiology, AIIMS Jodhpur.

Essential Qualification
Three years' graduate degree (BMLT) + three years' experience, preferably in a government institution; OR PG (MSc MLT) / MSc Microbiology.
Desirable: Microbiology laboratory experience, preferably in the area of mycology.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fungal conventional and molecular diagnostics
- Specimen handling, fungal culture, molecular testing, and antifungal susceptibility testing
- Support training, sample processing and coordination with the strain repository team
- Maintenance and documentation of Biobank and Biorepository samples in registers along with an Excel sheet
