AIIMS Guwahati Project Associate I Recruitment 2026
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati invites online applications (through email) from eligible candidates for the post of Project Associate I, purely on contractual basis in the extramural research project titled "Role of long non-coding RNAs in predicting the chemosensitivity of triple-negative breast cancer", sanctioned for up to 3 years by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India (Sanction No. BT/PR54005/NER/95/2208/2024 dated 18.06.2026).

Essential Qualification
Postgraduate degree (with minimum 55% marks) including the integrated PG degrees in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
Desirable Qualification
- Working experience with mammalian cell culture, molecular and cell biology techniques, cancer biology for a minimum period of 6 months.
- Proof of having qualified a national level examination conducted by recognized government agencies such as CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT, GATE, or DST.
Emoluments
- Rs. 36,580/- per month [Salary Rs. 31,000 + 18% HRA (Rs. 5,580)] for candidates with valid certificate of CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / GATE or national level examinations relevant to biological sciences conducted by central government departments.
- Rs. 29,500/- per month [Salary Rs. 25,000 + 18% HRA (Rs. 4,500)] for others who do not fall under the above category.
Age Limit
Up to 35 years. Age relaxation admissible as per Government of India guidelines.
