Applications are invited for a temporary/contractual post in the research project entitled "Advanced clinical evaluation of Diagnostics of National Importance" (Project code I-1767) funded by CAR-ICMR, Government of India, in the Department of Biophysics, AIIMS New Delhi.
- Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) — One post | Duration: 6 months
- Salary: Rs 56,000/- + 27% HRA of Rs 15,120 = total Rs 71,120/- per month
Essential Qualification
- First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences
Desirable
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology and IVD (In-vitro Diagnostics) assays
- Gradient PCR, RT-PCR, primer design, quantification, genotyping, Western blotting, ELISA, immunophenotyping and immunoblot
- Experience in IVD device R&D and molecular imaging techniques (brightfield and fluorescent); large data management, data analysis and programming
- Software handling: GraphPad Prism, SigmaPlot, MS Excel, IBM SPSS; grant writing/proposal development and budget preparation; good communication/managerial skills
