AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus, Maidangarhi, New Delhi invites online applications from eligible candidates for appointment of Assistant Professor on contract basis in various disciplines. This is a dedicated campus for the Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFIMS), established as an integrated campus under AIIMS, New Delhi. The appointment is for a period of one year or till the regular arrangement is made, whichever is earlier, extendable up to a maximum of two years.

Age Limit (as on 20 July 2026):

Qualification:
- Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of Third Schedule of IMC Act, 1956
- DM/MCh or MD/MS in relevant specialty as per the prescribed recruitment rules
- For candidates with 2-year/5-year DM/MCh degrees: additional 3 years teaching/research experience in the specialty after obtaining the primary DM/MCh degree
- For candidates with 3-year/6-year DM/MCh degrees: no additional experience required

Selection Process:
- Shortlisting based on objective scoring criteria (Academic & Professional Achievements — 10 marks, Research & Publications — 35 marks, Teaching & Presentations — 30 marks; Total — 75 marks)
- Interview by Selection Committee
- Only shortlisted candidates (top 10 per post) called for interview

Salary:
Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,42,506 per month. No other allowances (DA, HRA, pension, gratuity, medical, etc.) applicable. Private practice strictly prohibited.

Contract Terms:
- Initial appointment: 1 year or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier
- Maximum tenure: 2 years (extendable by one more year with approval)
- Notice period: 1 month on either side or salary in lieu thereof
- Posting exclusively at AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus, Maidangarhi, New Delhi
- No claim for regular appointment after contract ends
