Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up of 72 (Seventy Two) posts of Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Integrated Sample Survey (ISS)” of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-03. Funding is under a 90:10 sharing pattern (90% Govt. of India, 10% Govt. of Assam).

Note: The vacancies are filled against existing vacancies in the respective categories as reflected in the Post-Based Roster Register. Ex-Servicemen must upload the Ex-Servicemen Identity Card issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Office, Assam and Discharge Book while applying for the reserved post.
Pay, Age & Qualification
- Scale of Pay: Pay Band-2 (Rs. 14,000/- to 70,000/-) + Grade Pay Rs. 5,600/- + other allowances.
- Age: Not less than 21 years and not more than 40 years (as on the notified date); upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 10 years for PwBD and 2 years for Ex-Servicemen.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any subject having studied at least a paper of Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Social Science/Sociology/Psychology at Graduate level; OR Bachelor's degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard.
- Language: Knowledge of English and any one of the local languages (Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) as subjects during HSLC.
- Computer: Computer Course Certificate of minimum 6 (six) months duration from a Government recognised Institute (must be uploaded).
- Candidates must possess a valid Employment Exchange registration certificate of Assam; PwBD candidates must have benchmark disability of 40% or more; regular Govt. servants need NOC.
