Eligibility
- Age: 18-25 years as on 01.01.2027 (born between 02.01.2002 to 01.01.2009). No age relaxation.
- Education (Level-2): 10th pass + NAC (NCVT) in relevant Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engg trades OR 10th + ITI in relevant trade OR 10th pass (with 2 yrs training).
- Education (Level-1): 12th pass or equivalent OR ITI/NAC equivalent.
- Sports Norms: As specified — International/National/State level achievements required.

Min qualifying: Level-2 — 65 marks, Level-1 — 60 marks. Must score 25+ out of 40 in trials to be considered FIT.
Application Fee
- General/OBC: Rs.500 (Rs.400 refundable if appear in trials)
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Minorities/EBC: Rs.250 (fully refundable if appear in trials)
- Via Indian Postal Order (IPO) / Demand Draft payable to PFA, Rail Wheel Factory, Bangalore
