About AAI
+Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise constituted by an Act of Parliament, is entrusted with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing Civil Aviation Infrastructure both on the ground and air space in the country. AAI has been conferred with the Mini Ratna Category-1 status.
+ +Senior Consultant in Law Directorate
+AAI invites applications for engagement of Senior Consultant in Law Directorate (04 Posts for CHQ and 01 Post for Northern Region, New Delhi) for a period of one year on contract basis. The initial engagement shall be for one year only, extendable by one year at a time. Total cumulative period shall not exceed five years.
+ +Charter of Duties
+- +
- Conduct legal research on issues relating to aviation laws, contracts, service matters, land acquisition, arbitration, constitutional and administrative law. +
- Preparation of Case Briefs, notes, and other documents pertaining to Litigation of AAI. +
- Liaisoning and coordinating AAI's litigation before various courts and tribunals. +
- Pursuing court cases & attending court hearings before courts and tribunals on behalf of AAI. +
- Drafting, vetting, and reviewing legal documents including contracts, agreements, MoUs, affidavits, pleadings, written submissions, rejoinders, replies, notices, and correspondence. +
- Regular updation and maintenance of litigation and legal data on the AIMS Portal. +
- Coordination with various departments, airports, and Corporate & regional offices of AAI. +
- Provide assistance in maintaining records of court orders, judgments, legal opinions, contracts, and arbitration awards. +
- Perform any other legal, research, litigation, or assigned duties as may be assigned by RED NR and GM (Law), CHQ. +

- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. +
- Selection process will be based on academic qualifications, experience and will also include document verification & interview. +
- Qualification should be from National Law Universities and other Universities established by Acts of Central or State and also institutions declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, recognised by Bar Council of India. +
- TA/DA will NOT be paid for attending the interview/selection process. +
- Leave: 1.5 days per completed month of service. Unavailed leave cannot be carried forward or encashed. +
