Qualification

• Post Graduate degree in Physics from a recognised university PLUS Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological or Medical Physics from a recognised university and internship of minimum twelve months in a recognised well equipped radiation therapy department OR
• A basic degree in Science from a recognised University with Physics as one of the main subjects and a post graduate degree in Radiological or Medical Physics from recognised university and an internship of minimum twelve months in a recognised well equipped radiation therapy department.

Duties

• Assist doctors in carrying out procedures and treatments using radioactive materials and other sources of radiation
• Ensure patients, medical personnel, installations, and the general public are safeguarded from hazards
• Help in planning patient treatment involving radiation
• Carry out calibration of radiation equipment and related instruments

Terms

• Contract for one year or till the regular incumbent joins
• Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 77,410/- per month
• No claim for regular appointment
• No TA/DA for interview
