Selection Process

  1. CBT 1: 100 questions / 100 marks covering General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Science. It is qualifying in nature; its score does not count in the final merit. Qualifying candidates are shortlisted for CBT 2.
  2. CBT 2: 150 questions / 150 marks covering General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry, Basics of Computers & Applications, Basics of Environment & Pollution Control and Technical Abilities (discipline-wise). The final merit list is based purely on CBT 2 marks.
  3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates for educational qualification, age, category and (if applicable) experience.
  4. Medical Examination: Candidates must pass the prescribed medical fitness standard for the post (as specified in the CEN).
