SSC GD Constable 2026 Guide: CBT, PET/PST Standards, DME & Admit Cards
Rojgarpulse Team·26 Oct 2026
SSC GD Constable recruits riflemen/GD constables for CAPFs (BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF) through CBT, then PET/PST, then Detailed Medical Examination. Only CBT qualifiers per the cut-off face the physical stage.
Stage-wise Process
| Stage | What Happens |
|---|---|
| CBT | Objective paper (GA, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi/English); negative marking; normalization across shifts |
| PET | Race (distance/time by gender) – qualify within the notified standard for your category |
| PST | Height, chest (male, expanded/unexpanded) and weight per force/category standards on the admit card |
| DME/RME | Medical fitness incl. vision, flat-foot, knock-knee and tattoo policy review |
Admit Cards (Phase-wise)
- Separate admit cards release for CBT and then for PET/PST – download each from your SSC region in its window.
- Physical admit cards carry the venue, reporting time and the exact standards table – follow those figures, not summaries.
Preparation Notes
- Build race stamina progressively on tracks; add height/chest documentation checks early (domicile, caste, EWS where claimed).
- Keep one document file ready from day one – DV follows PET/PST for qualifiers.
