How to download the UPSC CSE Mains 2026 admit card
UPSC does not send admit cards by post or email. The CSE (Main) admit card is an e-admit card hosted in the Admit Card section of the official website, and it is downloaded login-style using the roll number allotted in the Preliminary examination along with the date of birth or registration details. CSE (Main) 2026 written exam pattern
The Main written examination has nine descriptive papers of three hours each, held over several days in two sessions (forenoon and afternoon) as per the exam notice. Papers A and B are qualifying in nature, and marks are counted for ranking from the remaining seven papers.

Documents and items to carry on the exam day
- Printed copy of the CSE Mains 2026 e-admit card (one extra copy as backup for all exam days).
